Alan Green joined the NAAE team in August 2020 as a Program Manager, and in this position, he is responsible for assisting NAAE in carrying out high quality and diverse programs and services that support the NAAE Mission. Alan works primarily with programming related to the NAAE’s Teacher Recruitment and Retention initiative.
Alan is a 2017 graduate of Michigan State University. Prior to officially joining the NAAE team, Alan has worked in many capacities with NAAE, and also taught agriculture for two years at Unionville-Sebewaing Area Schools in Sebewaing, Michigan. Alan and his wife Laryssa, along with their two dogs, Lucy and Barkley, reside in the thumb of Michigan. He is passionate about woodworking, blogging, remodeling their home, and camping.
