Ashley Rogers joined the NAAE team in June 2022 as a Program Manager, and in this position, she is responsible for assisting NAAE in carrying out high quality and diverse programs and services that support the NAAE Mission. Ashley works primarily with programming related to professional development for agricultural educators as well as NAAE’s teacher recruitment and retention efforts.
Ashley graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Career and Technical Education, specializing in Agricultural Education. She has also earned a Master’s in Teacher Leadership and an Educational Specialist degree in Principalship. Additionally, Ashley completed her Doctorate in Agricultural Education from Texas Tech University. Ashley taught Agriculture for 7 years at Nicholas County Middle/High School. She was named the NAAE Region IV Outstanding Early Career Recipient in 2020 and the ACTE New Teacher of the Year in 2021. Ashley has participated in many NAAE programs including the Teacher Turn the Key program as well as being a National Agriscience Teacher Ambassador and NAAE Facilitator. Ashley’s passions involve traveling, aerial silks, fitness, hiking, and everything Fall.
