This lesson-plan-in a box combines critical thinking skills, inquiry-style learning, and fun challenges to lead students through a web-based breakout activity where they solve out a series of puzzles and input the correct answer to gain access to the next challenge.

NAAE has created a print-at-home version of the challenge. If you didn't receive an official Breakout Challenge box, you can still download and print these resources and register your students to compete in the national breakout competition. Print-at-home materials cannot be used to supplement or refill an official Challenge Box from NAAE.
The Unlock Your Potential: #TeachAg Lesson Plan-in-a-Box invites students to imagine themselves as newly hired ag teachers. Students start the lesson plan by receiving and filling out an ID badge. By completing tasks in the areas of advocacy, limitless learning, humble leadership, and boundless classrooms, they earn keys just like a teacher gathers keys to their facilities. This lesson plan includes 60 minutes of instruction with 30 minutes of optional extension activities.
